The small, quiet and historic town of Port Gamble has a lot of meaning for Raeleen and I. Just over 3 years ago, we were married in the same church that Shannon and Jonah were married in here. What an experience, and wonderful opportunity to look at Port Gamble from a different perspective.
Shannon and Jonah’s wedding was just lovely. One thing that makes Port Gamble so great is the views of the Puget Sound to the north and the feel of the warm, inviting old buildings. That along with the weather holding quite nicely, made for a romantic evening and a gorgeous sunset over the water and the islands to the west.
If you ever have the opportunity to hop the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, make sure you check out this small town, but don’t blink when you’re driving by, because you just might miss something amazing…
