Alicia and Mark’s wedding on the beach in Del Mar, California was stunning! Not to say we don’t love being wedding photographers in Seattle, but there’s something about the weather and the water that makes Del Mar so gorgeous. Take these great elements and combine it with an awesome and fun couple and you get an amazing wedding.
The Powerhouse was a great venue. We had the perfect lookout over the beach and ocean, and the patio made for an enchanting little cocktail area for entertaining between the ceremony and the reception. Red umbrellas, exquisitely crafted hors d’oeuvre, even beta fish in the center pieces; the details were fabulous. Alicia and Mark even had mini square cupcakes to replace a traditional wedding cake.
