Fort Worden is part of Port Townsend, WA. It’s on the water, it’s an old out-of-operation military fort, and it’s sweet. Plus, it has a nice lighthouse that softens up the all concrete facade of the fort. This engagement session was definitely the perfect blend of softness and a bit of grit. We basically ran around Fort Worden and found cool spots in the bunkers, by the lighthouse, and the really cool random boat on the beach. On top of sweet locations, we couldn’t really take a picture without Sam and Brian not smiling. Sometimes we like to do the serious “I’m really sexy and cool” look, but they were just too happy to even do that. It was so easy to capture their personality and fun, mostly because they couldn’t hide it
I love the session shots and, again, always love it when the couple can get a little dirty for some awesome shots.
