Asiya + Shabber :: Seattle Indian Wedding (Saturday)

October 16, 2009 –

Here’s part 2 of 4 posts for Asiya and Shabber’s Indian wedding here in Seattle. These images are from Asiya’s wedding day on Saturday. Again, just unbelievable details and another beautiful saree. Their ceremony was held at the IMAN Center in Kirkland, and after the ceremony we drove off to the Snoqualmie Falls en route to the reception. The falls were, as always, spectacular and it was so much fun photographing Asiya and Shabber on the rocks. Hiking down to the falls in a saree, by the way, isn’t all that easy, and Asiya made her way down no problem. She quite possibly was the best dressed hiker ever to go down to the rocks below the falls
We ended the evening at the Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course where the view of Mt. Si was stunning, and it was the perfect end to a wonderful day.

Ruth + Stevan :: Snoqualmie Falls engagement session

September 25, 2009 –

There’s something about Snoqualmie Falls that really feels like home here in the Northwest, and everytime Raeleen and I take pictures out there, it’s hard not to love every second of the shoot. Ruth and Stevan’s engagement session at the base of the falls was no exception. We had a great time laughing, getting a little misted, and came out with some wonderful shots of Ruth and Stevan. I hope you enjoy these few from their session.

Asiya and Shabber’s Seattle Wedding :: Teaser :)

July 16, 2009 –

Our first Indian wedding left Raeleen and I with a wonderful experience. This last weekend we had the honor of photographing Asiya and Shabber’s wedding here in the Seattle area. It was a three day event that was bursting with color, culture and love! This is a mere sprinkling of images from the wedding. We call this a teaser, we’re still editing the entire event, but this is something to let everyone (especially Asiya) see a few of our favorites. Enjoy!

Allie and Kyle’s Engagement Session

August 5, 2008 –

Raeleen and I met Allie and Kyle for the first time at Bizzy and Geoff’s wedding. Kyle was one of Geoff’s groomsmen who’d flown into Seattle from Arizona to be a part of the wedding, and Allie is his lovely fiance. Rae and I had a great time talking and hanging out with them in Winthrop, and Kyle and Allie loved our work enough to ask us to photograph their wedding next year in Sedona, Arizona. Sweet! We love meeting new people and creating new friendships

Long story short, we ended up having lunch in Bellevue the day after we all got back from Winthrop and headed out to do some engagement photos of them the next day at Snoqualmie Falls. We had an awesome time! Rae and I are really looking forward to being a part of their wedding next spring in Arizona. Hope you all love their engagement shots!
