Allison + John :: Gasworks Park engagement session

Gasworks Park right off the water in Seattle is an awesome spot for a fun session. I love that Allison and John had so much fun with Rae and I that the location was just icing on the cake. The hardest part of the shoot was getting a few shots where we were laughing so much that John couldn’t even look at the camera. I absolutely love when the engagement session is just like hanging out and having a good time shooting with a great couple. We can’t wait for their wedding, just a couple weeks away! Congrats Allison and John!

Alison + Chad :: UW Engagement Session in Seattle

The University of Washington campus in Seattle was an awesome spot to shoot Alison and Chad’s engagement session. We had a touch of the cherry blossoms left and UW always has the most amazing view of them. They both have a bit of history attending UW and it was really special to get them back there together. It was so much fun to capture Alison and Chad’s personalities here, they’re definitely kept the shoot interesting and easy, we love it when it’s hard not to get them smiling. We can’t wait to see them again for their wedding coming up this summer!

Shannon + Adam :: Salish Lodge Wedding in Snoqualmie

Salish Lodge is a quintessential representation of the Washington’s Northwest beauty. So what a perfect spot for Shannon and Adam to share their wedding day with their guests. Salish Lodge sits right on the top of the cliff at Snoqualmie Falls, so naturally, there’s a tendency for a bit of water and mist and it’s amazing how wet you can get without it even raining. So along with an umbrella, Shannon rocked some sweet yellow rainboots for little bit outside. So much fun!
As soon as Rae and I got to the ceremony and reception rooms, we saw the all of Shannon’s wonderful details. The fun tree ring cake stands, mason jars with candles, little clothes pins holding all of the guests’ namecards, and even little signing rocks instead of a guestbook. All these fun details really captured Shannon and Adam’s fun personalities and it made the wedding all the more unique and special. That’s something Rae and I love to see at weddings!
Rae and I had such a fun time on their wedding day, and to Shannon and Adam, thank you both so so much for having us there to capture it all.
