Here’s the day after Brandi and Nathan’s wedding in Kauai, Hawaii. Brandi got back into her wedding dress, we hopped in the car, and drove all along Kauai’s coastline for the perfect spots to really capture them in the beauty of the island.
Our Trash the Dress sessions always take us to spots where we can get dirty and give the couple some more of the fun shots we couldn’t get on their wedding day. The first spot we found was the Kilauea lighthouse that sat on the edge of a cliffside. I think we drove up to the park gates 2 minutes before they closed up and they weren’t letting anyone it. Until one of the park rangers saw Brandi
There’s something about a white dress that can get you alot. Having only a few minutes of gracious time, we ran up and had some fun shots.
From there, we drove along the coastal highway. To be honest, we really didn’t know where we wanted to go, just that we’d know it when we found it. And we did. We took a suggestion from a local and found ourselves driving down a small road and ended up on a beautiful, and fairly secluded beach. This was the spot, and once we got out, we had a great time. Brandi and Nathan were awesome, we got a little wet, got a little sandy and got some amazing shots.
The slideshow has a few of Brandi and Nathan’s pictures on the wedding day. Make sure you watch it to get the feel of the time we spent with them on Kauai.
