Jacqui + Dominic :: Seattle Wedding at the DAR on Capitol Hill

Raeleen and I had a wonderful time with Jacqui and Dominic on their wedding day. Jacqui looked absolutely amazing and the DAR Rainier Chapter House was the perfect spot for her day.
Taking out the couple for a some shots alone is something that Raeleen and I love to do. Jacqui and Dominic were no exception and we found the most perfect little spot right around the corner from the venue. It was the wrought iron entry to a small gated community and was just the spot for Jacqui to rock the camera

Asiya + Shabber :: Seattle Indian Wedding (Sunday)

October 17, 2009 –

The last day of Asiya and Shabber’s wedding, family and friends joined the newly wed couple for an Argosy cruise around Seattle in the Puget Sound. The weather was lovely and the food was amazing! After the cruise, family and friends left and Raeleen and I spent the rest of the afternoon with Asiya and Shabber in downtown Seattle for a few more pictures. We always love getting the bride and groom back out for pictures after the wedding day. Why? The wedding is over, there’s no strict schedule, and it’s the perfect time to capture those shots we may not have had time to do on the day of the wedding. Plus, we could go anywhere we wanted, and here we chose Pioneer Square and the EMP for some fun shots around the city.

Asiya + Shabber :: Seattle Indian Wedding (Saturday)

October 16, 2009 –

Here’s part 2 of 4 posts for Asiya and Shabber’s Indian wedding here in Seattle. These images are from Asiya’s wedding day on Saturday. Again, just unbelievable details and another beautiful saree. Their ceremony was held at the IMAN Center in Kirkland, and after the ceremony we drove off to the Snoqualmie Falls en route to the reception. The falls were, as always, spectacular and it was so much fun photographing Asiya and Shabber on the rocks. Hiking down to the falls in a saree, by the way, isn’t all that easy, and Asiya made her way down no problem. She quite possibly was the best dressed hiker ever to go down to the rocks below the falls
We ended the evening at the Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course where the view of Mt. Si was stunning, and it was the perfect end to a wonderful day.

Asiya + Shabber :: Seattle Indian Wedding (Friday)

Here’s part 1 of 4 posts for Asiya and Shabber’s Indian wedding here in Seattle. These images are from Asiya’s 1st day of wedding festivities. It was a ladies only night and Raeleen spent the evening with them including photographing while the ladies had their henna done! How fun is that!?
