Wedding Photography :: Bellevue Wedding Show

January 31, 2009 –

First off, sorry for the late post. Distracted with a few shoots and a bit of editing, I never posted about the Bellevue wedding show. Here are two quick shots of Raeleen and I’s booth at the Bellevue Bridal Expo in the Meyedenbauer Center. Sorry for the quality, despite having some of the most technologically advanced cameras, we only had our little canon point-and-shoot camera on us :)

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who came by the booth. For those of you that booked with us for your wedding this year, thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day. We are so excited for this year. All of our brides have been so great and I know this year will be especially fun and memorable.

Valentine’s Day Boudoir Session

January 21, 2009 –

You’re Invited to our first ever studio boudoir party!

More Info: $10 sitting fee per person, but bring a friend and it is only $5 for you. Your sitting fee will also include pre session wine and snacks, unlimited images taken, editing on every image, and a password protected online gallery. Depending upon the group size I am expecting to have the images available within 48 hours. Mini albums will be available for purchase.

Raeleen will be hosting (and shooting) the party, so please feel free to contact her with your RSVP or any questions. Raeleen also shoots private parties and individuals if a group environment isn’t your style.

Photography from our trip to La Paz, Mexico

January 20, 2009 –

This is what Raeleen and I did for Christmas. We flew to La Paz, Mexico in Baja California Sur to see Raeleen’s Dad, who is beginning a long sail on around the world on his sailboat.

La Paz was beautiful, not very touristy and was definitely a warm alternative to the snow in Seattle!

Ok, so all the crazy little specks in this shot below? They’re the beginning of a swarm of bees coming up the hillside. This shot was taken before we saw them, and before we ran. There were thousands upon thousands of these little guys and they created a huge dark cloud as they came toward us. Those bees were the most I’ve ever seen at once…

Bizzy and Geoff’s wedding in Seattle Bride!

January 7, 2009 –

Seattle Bride’s Spring/Summer Issue just came out and Raeleen and I were very excited to see that one of our pictures of Bizzy and Geoff at their wedding in Winthrop was published in the article “The Year in Pictures”. The article has a collection of images by Seattle wedding photographers such as Raeleen and I. Thank you so much, Bizzy and Geoff, for giving us the perfect venue and the perfect couple to create great images.
