Background - Studied and loved art since 3rd grade.  Majored in art, minored in anthropology, studied art history, color theory, graphic design, composition, physiology, and archeology at University of Washington.
Translation - Works with light, composition, and human nature to create dynamic pictures.  Uses her studies on human interaction and acute people watching skills to capture emotion as it unfolds.
Favorite Color - Purple & Seafoam teal 

Andy

Background - Studied digital art and 3D animation at Digi Pen.  Focused on anatomy, composition, shapes, and movement.
Translation - Creates personally defining images by expressing depth and character of the subject matter.  Has a tendency to evoke a sense of ease with his subjects while being offbeat and fun.
Favorite Color - Burnt Orange

Why Photography?

We both loved taking pictures before we were married and grew to love it more and more as we started taking pictures together.  After we were married we both decided to try our hand at photographing a few weddings, and here we are years later doing what we love together.  Learning photography from the art side first has given us the ability to see an image before we even snap the picture and the freedom to be more imaginative and creative.
